Premium Samui Jungle Safari

9.45 amGuan Yu

Guan Yu is an expressive statue of a well-known Chinese warrior. Behind the statue there is also a really beautifully designed shrine, which is decorated in a typical Chinese style using the colors red and gold.

10.30 amLaem Sor Pagoda

This unique pagoda is located directly on the beach. With the sea in the background it is very pictures and always worse some photos. When the tropical sun of Samui shines on the cream-colored tiles it gives the impression that the pagoda is made of pure gold.

11.15 amNa Muang Waterfalls

The two Na Muang waterfalls are the most famous ones on the island and surrounded by dense jungle. At waterfall 1 you will have enough time to bathe and swim in the natural pool below. At waterfall 2 there is a small adventure park where we make a stopover for a ride on a 65-meter-long water slide.

12.30 pmMummified monk

Inside the Kunaram temple you can see the mummy of a real monk. Interesting is, that the monk was in no way preserved but internally dried out and therefore did not decompose. Por Lung Daeng, as hi was named, did spent much of his lifetime with meditation. As if he had had a premonition, he left the option in his will that he would like to be preserved for posterity should he not decay.

1.15 pmLunch

A lunch will be provided in a mountain restaurant, where you will be served a freshly prepared and high-quality Thai set menu. We deliberately do not stop in one of these typical excursion restaurants, where many tour providers take a break with a large number of guests and a canteen style food.

2.30 pmMagic Garden

The Magic Garden is located at an altitude of 600 meters and surrounded by the dense rainforest. A small waterfall leads into a creek that flows through the entire garden. Inside this idyllic area, Tar Nim (Uncle Nim), began to sculpt the many Buddhist statues at the age of 77. In addition to the larger statues (showing musicians, dancers and more), he has incorporated many small hidden details that has to be discovered inside this tranquil oasis.

3.45 pmRubber Tree plantation

During the off-road tour through the island’s rainforest, we also stop at a rubber tree plantation. Here we show you the special technique of cutting the tree bark so that the liquid latex starts running out of the tree. The liquid then moves downwards into a bowl, which is usually a halved coconut shell.

4.30 pmPlai Laem temple

The Plai Laem Temple is probably the most beautiful temple complex on the island of Koh Samui. It combines Thai and Chinese elements. The temple itself is built on a lotus flower shaped platform inside a fishpond. Inside the temple there is an extremely gold shining Buddha statue. The wall paintings inside the temple show various stages of Buddha’s life. The shutters of the temple are made of wood with impressive hand-carved motifs. To the right of the temple there is a statue of the Chinese goddess Guanyin with her 18 arms. On the left-hand side of the temple you can see the statue of Budai, that fat grinning monk who is often mistakenly referred to as Buddha.

5.15 pmTransfer back to your hotel

The tour ends with the visit of the amazing Wat Plai Laem. From here we will take you back to your accommodation.
